What delicious, vibrant peppers. Is there anything more beautiful than a grouping of fresh veg? I'm not so sure. Congrats.
I've had bad luck with my peppers, though this is only my second growing season. Doesn't take much talent to grow things in Kansas, the soil is so fertile you can almost grow things by accident. For instance, we have two or three volunteer cherry tomato plants popping up in inconvenient spots - in the midst of the scratchy cucumber patch mainly. Do you ever have problems with cross-pollination of bells and picantes? Any (organic) suggestions for bulking up my peps? I have two purples and one red growing next to some cilantro and one wayward cherry. Looks like a couple of little bells are coming up so I want to raise 'em up right.
Hey girl, wish I could answer with some authority but mostly just grow things by chance. Haven't had any cross pollination that I know of. I will say however that growing things next to a manure pile seems to be working out quite well, both for veggies and weeds.
