Hey Wild Orbans! I ate a crumbly bread stick as i was toasting your idea of starting a blog that is accessible by all. Great idea--I think diversity will be its strength.
"My dear fellow." said Sherlock Holmes as we sat on either side of the fire in his lodgings at Baker Street, "life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the won- derful chains of events, working through generation, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprof- itable. " Elementary my dear Running Water... ello!
it is my privilege to be the recipient of your ponderings and ruminations- now that we have identified one another, let's get on with solving these mysteries, shall we? Wind Power as a viable alternative energy; what do you think about buying some land in the Panhandle and setting up some wind generators, then have them wired into the grid- selling the energy back to the power company, paying for the land and generators, then banking the rest? #2 got le tour?; tour de france starts this weekend, do you follow this at all? #3 Scout's Secret; always been curious about the appeal of the Scout to you- i see them from time to time and wonder, remembering you always had one or two it seems. #4 how correct old man Doyle was- if I unfurled the scroll of drama that was this week, i would probably need an extra-long papyrus- if I were there i would embrace your tin man squeaky frame, but in the meantime give the coppertops some kisses for me- how do i post on your blog? Keep me posted and forgive the proofing errors. R-W
