Dig It
The warm dry weather has got me thinking about spring, so with borrowed tractor in hand (thanks cornerstone construction)and a large pile of organic matter available I have begun my 2008 garden. I put in a few tomatoes and peppers in this spot last year and with heavy competition from the local weeds, still had a decent crop. Hope to keep the weeds more or less in check and see what happens. I've got seeds ordered from Seed Savers Exchange and will grow seedlings to transplant when spring actually arrives! I'll update progress as it happens.

Totally digging the pix!
Are you guys getting twisters from the weather- (I know I know the weather the weather-) It is a regional fascination of mine- the ideal blog to me would be a mandatory five entries per week with accompanying musical soundtrack, daily pictures, food recalls, movie reviews, items for sale, and DAILY WEATHER!!!
Anyhow i am going to be less of a blog hog here in the New Year (last week notwithstanding) and just maybe more flowers will sprout and bloom (taking a cue from Chauncy Gardner in "Being There.") But if you can't get enough of this "Wild and Crazy guy," you can always keep track of my antics on the Warriors blog and soon to be updated Rising Lion- like I always say, you may be wealthier than me, you may be a better dancer than me, you might be stronger, faster, wiser, more pithy, have more sparkle in your teeth, your eye, your dishwater and sunshine on your shoulder, but nobody is going to have more fun than me so go on crack a joke and I will be the first one to laugh cause I was digging it deeper since I first opened my peepers and mom always told me my first word was "light" but what she didn't know was that I was trying to say "keep it light everybody and find something each day to chuckle about..." love ya
And if I am to be totally honest I was cracking a joke at nine months of age saying to my mom "how many Hungarians does it take to screw in a light bulb?"
C'mon fellow Slavs, finish this joke for me...
