Full Wolf Moon tonight

From Almanac.com:

"Amid the cold and deep snows of midwinter, the wolf packs howled hungrily outside Indian villages. Thus, the name for January's full moon." Also known to the Celtics as "Quiet Moon".

I wonder, if we had wolves howling outside the door, would we relate the phases of the moon or position of planets etc. to our circumstances. Many of us are probably not aware of the simple, routine cycles of everyday existence...here's a little more info from space.com...It was also known as the Old Moon or the moon after Yule. In some tribes this was the Full Snow Moon; most applied that name to the next moon...hope your sky is clear tonight!
