Paul turned twenty yesterday. Truly a marvelous fellow with a quick clever mind and zest for living. We love you, Paul and couldn't be prouder!

The More Things Change...

 A couple of young fellas came up the other day and showed me this photo; wondered if I'd be willin' to part with 90 bucks. I remembered the time some 20+ years ago that some guy showed up asking if I'd pay $30 for a couple of black&white prints.

 Both times I said  "sure".

 A couple of the photos in-between were shot by Cathy's mom in Paul Martin's plane...

...and the other by someone I don't recall.














Seems like only yesterday.

If you look real close you might be able to spot Jaime and Steve in one of the shots and maybe a horse or two in some of the others.

Like Clockwork

Here's the annual photo of crocus. They just popped up today. A year ago we were being buried under a blizzard of snow and the temps were getting ready to drop to all-time lows. Today, sunny,sixty+degrees. Oh, what a difference a year makes!

Mater Update

First pictures of the new baby boys.

Begin Again

May be a little early, but with the warm temps I had to get tomatoes and peppers started. The tomatoes in the photo are from plants started a year ago, transplanted to the garden in the spring and then uprooted and brought into the greenhouse before the first frost this past fall. Still have a few on the vine as well as new blossoms.Can't claim year-round tomatoes yet, but hopefully they're in our future.
