I have come to the perspective that each year a child reaches in age, the entire family is to be congratulated and the event heartily celebrated as the average day holds many obstacles to a person's well-being. I too salute the young man with many Happy Days Ahead, from the West Coast where we pay premium prices for our regular gas: $4.39 a gallon for regular!! The long view- in 20 years, Paul will be 40, I will be nearly 60, and Javelin will be 21. May we all find our way to that place and may we finally figure out the extended charge battery issue for electric cars...

did I say $4.39?? I filled up tonight, a week later at $4.49...(for 1987 octane-regular gas!)
