Oklahoma Autumn

The season is providing a subtle change for a change, this year in Oklahoma. Walked to the neighborhood park and chased leaves. Breezes drift through open windows around the house, bringing in the odor of decaying summer vegetation. Filtered light recalls days gone by and foreshadow the winter to come.
Anybody still getting tomatoes?

No 'maters tho I did let some nice peppers die on the vine. Keep expecting the big chill but the wind keeps pushing the Gulf our way. Now if we could just get the beach. I know, "be careful what you wish for"!
I do love that autumn evening light...makes everything glow, unfortunately for only a few minutes.
We tossed the mini pigskin around til it got too dark then back in the house to finish up homework, supper, bath and off to bed; just like the good old days.

nice pics Pakr-sorry I missed you guys this summer- great looking duo- cool locks. Inland they are still getting tomatoes but it is warmer later this year than usual and they are winding down. We are still dropping apples and I saw a loaded pear tree yesterday.

running-water, the two "face" shots were taken with a Sony Handycam (DCR-DVD405) and I can't say enuff good things about it. I've shot very professional looking portraits(in all modesty!), lanscapes worthy of framing, outdoor action pictures and have even taken decent shots of the recent eclipse and other distant night sky object. It's small enough to fit in a coat pocket and the mini disc format allows for hundreds of shots without swapping out. Bought it for video, originally thinking the photo option would be nice to have ocasionally, but find I use it almost exclusively as a digital still camera.
The one of Paul's back was taken with my razr phone - it surprises me everytime i think to use it!
