been mowing , marking , and flagging the inola course for the big home meet on saturday. expecting 10-15 schools. amy runs in the 7-8 grade division.1 mile run. she's been running consistently all summer and is as ready as anyone for this season opener.
Well the storms passed just in time to have cool cloudy weather for the cross country meet. Amy lost her shoe in a muddy ditch but still managed to finish 2nd in her race. 7:38 (1.2 mile course). The rest of my kids did well considering they've been running for only 2 weeks at the most.It's good to have the home meet in the books.
