This Day in Sporting History...

Thirty years ago today, sporting history was made and a champion was crowned. The things I'll do for a Wal-Mart gift certificate.

Always the obedient son. I wonder how much Dean made off your racing career.

Hey B. do you have a regular fitness routine these days?

Yeah, Em. I work out in the gym three or four times a week when time permits. I've been following a routine from the Men's Health Big Book of Exercises. High weight, low repetition, with lots of leg and core strengthening. I hurt my back a few weeks ago, but I'm back into it now and seeing good results again. For cardio, I cycle around the city almost daily on my trusty Raleigh and go on occasional runs.

I'm trying to get in shape for the Five-boro bike ride next weekend as well as the five-hundred miles I'll be hiking on the Colorado Trail this summer.

How about you?

Wow that sounds like Schwarzenegger of the South Bronx! :-)
I mainly try to go 12 rounds in the ring with a young up-and-comer. He wins most bouts but once in awhile I dazzle him with my fancy footwork, and then it is lights out baby... The five boroughs ride sounds fun.

I imagine the robot and the worm to be your most effective moves. Pop n'lock, kid.

Hell Yeah! and when I'm really loose the robotic worm boogie! ;-)
Watch out !!

I totally relate to the happiness shining in Dean's eyes as a result of his little boy.
