The groundhog said no, but here we go. After ice and snow a couple weeks ago thunderstorms rumbled through and the first crocus are now blooming. A tinge of green is showing up in the yard and the birds are beginning to sing their spring songs.
Daffodils look like they'll bloom any day, around Tulsa. I suppose it's time be turning some soil for a veggie garden. By the way, nice "crepe paper" effect on the pic, Steve.
Thanx Bill; daffodils around here are still just green shoots.Crepe paper effect is Photoshop elements3.0 Fresco filter. I shot the flowers with a home-made fisheye on old Sony Mavica.
nice. last weekend i got in the garden. sure was a good workout. who keeps saying it dry? my garden was really nice and moist. we saw some daffodils shooting up and when i was raking leaves i saw some for hits of some bulbs i planted last year starting.
some day i'm gonna play with photoshop. dont' know when.

Yep, crocuses (croci?) and daffs coming up in my yard too. We've been too spoiled this winter... I am suspicious {raises eyebrow}.
