Speaking of deliciousness, I just noticed yesterday that the persimmon tree in the park across from my house is now bearing ripe fruit, which means it's time for persimmon bread (if I can resist eating them raw). There is a stand of persimmon trees near the golf course off Frederick Road in Claremore.. and also a couple off the nature trail at Rogers State.
i'd love to have all of YOU guys's recipes :) i'm like billy, i probably have more stolen ones .....i'd even like to see what everyone's different recipe is for deviled eggs......and potato salad.
Not only a cook book but a get together to sample the end results. Each year a new chapter, a new gathering. A pre-holiday get- your- belly-ready-for-the-real-deal sort of gathering! Or we could just do a cookbook :)

What a good idea. Donna & the kids and I ALL have recipes for dishes we've invented (or stole!). We'd love to contribute and see everybody else's.
Yes, that is a good idea. Count me in.
