We're hearing lots of them in the ravine off the pedestrian trail that leads to the river. It's most definitely a welcome sound at our house, especially since there's been talk about frogs losing a lot of their habitat to development.
I love it when you're walking along the bank of a pond and suddenly you hear a little "eep!" as an unseen frog leaps to the safety of the water.

i love hearing that sound too. i have not been enjoying them enough.
we've got a baby horney toad that john found at a job site.
we have it in a little container with rocks sand and grass. it is so tiny
