Comet PANSTARRS

This was our view of  the comet and crescent moon this evening. The comet is not visible to the naked eye but can be seen with binoculars about 30 minutes or so after sunset. This photo was shot with a 200mm lens at f5.6 and 3 second exposure.

Wow! I looked 4 nights in a row. Didn't realize you need binoculars. I think the L.A. light pollution also gave me a severe handicap. Maybe I should give it one more try tonight with the camera. Great shot!

Spectacular capture. Missed the event in person but came across this vid from the southern hemisphere... Comets Lemmon and Panstarr BTW, thanks for posting the technical info.
