In case anyone hasn't heard, Pete had a very nasty bike wreck yesterday morning. Separated shoulder, neck sprain, bruised ribs, minor facial cuts. He did it up really well. Supposed to be referred to an orthopedic surgeon, will see what he says about surgery possibility. I'm hiding that bike from now on....

Recovery day 2:
the ol'ribs are screaming with pain with the slightest attempt to turn or bend and especially getting in or out of bed.the shoulder is immobilized with sling so other than the inconvenience of having only one uncoordinated hand to eat,brush teeth,type etc. with it's more manageable than the ribs. the neck is stiff (robot like movements to turn).
the shoulder will likely be very painful once i start actual attempts to do things with it.
the appointment with ortho. Dr.is yet to be set.
I cringe just thinking about the discomfort. I imagine being so immobilized is the worst of it for you, though. Hope you are taking the meds provided and not trying to do too much, bro.
