As stated before, it is a well-known fact that pitching a tent brings rain. I guess we may have pitched too many tents. Though Friday was as nice as you could ask for in August, most of Saturday and all of Saturday night was wet. From a steady drizzle to monsoon-like torrents, we got soaked! The kids and old folks made the best of it while we could but when you're "sleeping" in a puddle there's not much "best" to be found. Still, it was great to get together with all who made it. Lot's of laughs and memories, good and bad. I'm sure we'll do it all again!

Ahhh, 2008 - the year of the Big Rain.... It was lovely some of the time.
One of the more memorable camp-outs. I vote we do it again next year.
it WAS fun. it's time for a new umbrella for my camping supplies and maybe some extra plastic bags. i'm sorry i didn't get ANY pictures tho.
Sounds like we missed a classic. Hope all the equipment has dried by now!
