The grass is green, the humidity high; seems like it's been raining since the 4th of July. Haven't had a good clear night in quite a while but maybe the weather is about to break. Hopefully we'll have some clear skies this week as the annual Perseid meteor shower is "supposed" to be a good one! This coming weekend will be peek viewing time. Several other astronomical events will occur this week so I'm hoping for clear skies and good viewing. Here's a link to Sky and Telescope:

Looks like we may get at least partially clear skies.
The moon never rises over an hour later than the previous night. My memory is sometimes my own worst enemy.I should have known better than to argue with an astronomer! I was wrong.
