Happy Birthday Sis. This would mark the end of the "birthday trifecta week" with cake and ice cream oozing from our pores. I guess, though, we only got a few chances at that since Sam was so far behind. Love the picture; what a smile on Mother's face! Remember any favorite birthdays and/or gifts?
Yes, Steve! On my tenth birthday I rose early in the morning and went down to the kitchen in the "Old House." There on that yellow Formica table top was a little lump hidden under a dishtowel. Of course it was my birthday gift--a little Brownie camera!! So cool, and I felt so grown up to receive one special gift.
