Mid-town is a veritable tropical paradise. A mere 14 inches of snow and an afternoon full of sunshine. Aimee and Jaden waded into the blizzard during the a.m., but the sidewalk and driveway shoveling waited until the afternoon when the major flakes had quit falling. Jaden and I built ghetto-sleds from cardboard and rode down the small drifts in the yard. Cecilia was the only smart one in the whole group, she stayed in all day. Overall, it was a good snow day.

"They" say we got 20 inches but it's hard to say for sure since it's drifted to 4 ft in places and blown nearly clear in others. A good foot I'd say. Love the ghetto sled!
The trike burial helps to put it all in perspective. Great update.
