After about 5 inches of rain in 24 hours (probably two of it within an hour of these photos) the storm drains on our block were unable to handle the flow of water, The result? Lake Orban! The kids were standing in the middle of the street, here. The rain let up the water subsided and the streets were left cleaner than I can recall.

Now tell the truth, did you make those kids go out and stand in the rain for those pix? We only got 3&1/2 inches out here...feels like a drought!
Cathy, sadly with the downpour, I discovered my summer repairs to one of our roof transitions was inadequate - got water inside, durn it!
And, really, the kids were drawn to the water, Steve. Both of 'em are puddle splashers from way back!
man, that is unbelieveable. and it sucks that it got inside.
