Six Months Old!

Orin Star Samulski was six months old yesterday, October 18. He is really growing fast!!

Sunny Sunday

The sun came out this weekend

and the girls and I played with the horses. Ivy wanted to work Sister and rode Splash and Pico - she is ready to jump again as soon as her cast comes off. Alaina is happy to ride Diez at a walk for a little R&R since she has been recovering from laminitis and founder for the last few months but she also worked Sunny a little too. Then, for the best part, the girls and Steve set up the Halloween decorations - very scary!

Early Morning Astronomy

Hopefully the sky will clear before Friday morning. Should be a pretty cool view.

Free Fruit

Our lonesome pear tree is dropping fruit on the ground. Seems like I talked to someone awhile back who might be interested in having some. If so, please come by at your leisure and get what you want.

Time

The girls and I had a horsey day today - lessons with Patty. Alaina worked Sunny on canter leads and getting through a gate - Ivy worked Pico on transitions and jumping.

Kathleen O went with me to Totem Pole Park yesterday and I remembered a trip there long ago. We miss you Jaime.
